Default hydraulics question already used the search

Hi all i post rarely but appreciate any help i can get

About 1 in every 10 starts in 1st clutch does not disengage until almost fully let outwards , almost like i have had to learn to drive it again, which can lead to a stall or a jerky start. when fully depressed clutch pushes back towards you about 1 in every ten times, i never push all the way in as engagement point is pretty high seems higher than normal at present but did this as a test. topped off pentosin front and back levels and both full and still this issue occurs. Clutch still clamps and holds under wot, accumulator recently replaced could it be the slave, my tech says a faulty slave would cause the clutch to hang on the floorboard with no resistance. Any thoughts as always help is much appreciated. Its a pain to learn to drive it all over again, as this started to occur within the last few weeks. I am sure this is a hydraulic issue but i am not sure where to troubleshoot it.

When my accumulator went out I got all sorts of odd, intermittent, clutch pedal work / not work, restart car , all is fine behavior. Replaced slave too while in the neighborhood, no problems now for over a year and 3K miles.

Given the intermittent nature and a recent accumulator replacement and proper bleed, the slave sounds like a suspect and I would replace regardless if in there a second time. But that is my "belt & suspenders" opinion and more a rule of thumb, when in the 'hood (mechanically speaking), replace all parts that can wear on a 14 year old car and are easily bolted on.

As another data point, replaced my accumulator when had the same symptoms. All has been fine since (5+ years).

You might want to bleed it again....sounds like an air bubble trapped.
