Default PSS10 Installed

Finally bit the bullet and performed some upgrades at RUF in Dallas. Hans and the crew did a fantastic job. Here is what was performed: PSS10 install, routine items (breaks, oil, filters, ac vent flap repair), custom fabrication for the rear seat install and a light window tint.

The drop in height from SUV levels makes her look so much better.

So far I love the feel of the suspension, but I need some time to take her through the twists.

Thanks to everyone on the upgrade advise.

Awesome John! Looks like they set it up just like mine.

Let's go hit the 455 soon and see how she handles the twisties. Sunday morning?

Hello Patrick,

Hitting 455 sounds great! If the roads are dry on Sunday, I am definitely in.

Now that I have taken the first step, I feel the slippery slope calling my name.

Did you get rid of the RR Sport SC? I traded my sport for the RS6. Fun family vehicle for the highway trips. The 450hp V8 twin turbo in a sleeper shell is a blast.

Cheers,

John

John,

Looks great, do you know what the ride ht is, looks close to RS?

You'll enjoy the PSS10's, I just did same in May with RS sway bars.

I'll email about a Sunday drive.

Ruf sets the ride height up at rs + something. Lower than row sport.

John, your car looks great at that ride height. I also have the PSS10s which are awesome, but I have my car at RS ride height, which is too low. Would anyone out there know the exact ride height set by Ruf? Thanks

Not sure of the best method to do a measurement for ride height. From the center lip of the fender I am sitting at 25 inches in both the front and rear.

My C4S is 25 in the rear and 26 in the front. The 1 inch difference in the front really changes the look to be more aggressive.

At this ride height, I believe I would need to roll the fenders if I added spacers. I do agree that it would look great.

Ruf set my M030/HDs to RS +10 (Front=134mm, Rear=117mm), which is half way between RoW Sport and RS. That seems to be a very popular height, at least for the HDs. Don't know about PSS10s and my car isn't a TT but I thought I would post anyway.

Dan, that sounds about right for my car too. It has been a while. I typically give them the keys and tell them to do it - they know what they are doing.

I am pleased with that height and don't find that I scrape the chin at all.
