How fast would a Moded 993TT be at the RING

I understand you getting tired, but what signs does your car give after 45 minutes?

Well, our local track is kind of hard on the brakes (might be just my lousy driving). The heat shield would warp (not a problem I've removed them) and my brakes would start smoking. I run SRF and although the pedal becomes slightly more spongy during a long outing, no actual problem with effectiveness. Motor runs fine/don't notice any significant decrease in torque with heat soaking (have twin mocal home made oil coolers that keep temps down). My A048 get a little greasy (but may be just the tires/need to play more with the air pressures). My friend in his gt3rs just keeps going and going and he only comes off when the track gets more congested than he likes or he has to pee.

I've never seen much more than 1.1 g's on a corner like Jean says.

That's about 6 seconds faster than a stock 997tt. So how modded is modded.

As to Ring time, 7:40's. The longer wheelbase on the 997tt is the key to better vehicle dynamics. You start with a better platform to begin with.

Now if you want to play this game all the way out, I believe Jeff Zart achieved his best Pikes Peak time in a 993tt! Far better than the inferior 996tt all wheel drive and widow maker gt2.

Welcome Levino.

The 1.1G vs. close to 1.3 was on the same track and turn, 993TT with street Pirelli Zeros.

Of course you could see up to 1.3G on a stock width 993TT with Hoosiers and a slight banking, but the 997TT would see 1.4+ most likely.

A lot depends on the level of modding as JJayB says and kind of track, I put 6-7 seconds on the fastest 997TT or GT3RS as well with my car over 1 lap and they are better drivers. If we go to the 'Ring, they might leave me dry given the effort and sort of driving I have to do to be that fast.

048R's are not a great tire. I switched to NT01's and find them superior.

I have noticed that steering effort in the 993 is much higher than a 996 or 997, which can really tire me out on some tracks, like Infineon.

Here you go - full weight, 600PS claimed but 520 in reality, as can be seen by the performance, 100-200kph in 8.2s
On Yoko AVS tyres which I think are a road tyre of the era, 9 and 11"
