Hans, thanks for coming on the Forum, and explaining the current issues. Class move. Please come back more often and contribute when possible. I bet you have a lot of valuable knowledge for us 993 owners.

Dave, please tell us more. Was it just the ecu, etc. Ruf has been trying to get me to do a Manthey conversion to mine.

When it comes to ability of a shop, it doesn't matter who the name is on the front door. The guys at RUF would be top notch if they were on thier own; capability is dictated by skill, not the parts they install.

Hans, Mark, Janin and all the techs are good guys who are passionate about the work they do and honest in every job they perform.

Good luck to them all. A good business thrives because of people and practice and I'm sure this will hold true for them as well.

I'll second that. With their move into Italian cars too, suddenly the idea of a Ferrari is reasonable. One thing about the guys at RAC is that you can trust them. You can't buy trust...

Add me to the list of satisfied customers. I bought my Ferrari from them and they were fair priced, professional, and the service department top notch.

Hans and team are first rate. The turbo R conversion that they did is the best money I've spent on a car. It was done about 2 years ago now and the RUF is running better than ever. Any small issues that did come up were completely covered with no hassel. Finding folks like that to work with is far and few between. I'd do the conversion again in a heartbeat. Tour your quote above is spot on... "You can't buy trust"!

Kevin,

Yours is one of the best examples out there. I got to watch it being created. Don't let go of it.....unless you want to sell it to me!
