I upgraded my exhaust with the Fabspeed unit. My car has the OBDII DME. Just got the car back, and I was somewhat surprised at the increase in the speed at which the turbo's spool up. Certainly have less back pressure and the car is "right now". Many have commented on the intrusive nature of the sound in the 2500rpm "sweet spot", but I love the resonance and sound over the stock units. Gooing up through the gears now has that flat 6 sound that we've come to love. There are other units to be sure but Im pleased with the aural pleasure and additional power that the Fabspeed unit provides.

Although my TT is stock, I did have a complete F/speed set up on my old 930, and the system made a huge difference to spool up time. The sound was also great.
Pity it's just such an expensive upgrade, or I would have done this on my TT.

Now give the mufflers to "Fister D" and have him do his magic. He did mine and its SWEET !!!!!

mike did you get the fister 2 or 3? did you try the fab speed muffler bypass? i take it you're not a fan of it.

I have the Fabspeed mufflers with the Cat. Del pipes. I had Fister D do his stage II to the fabspeed mufflers and all I can say is WOW.....He is the man...

 

Yup.....a little lowder...I have NO cats...
