viggio ........... i wish somehow ruf could take pics of your build and email them to you to post. it would be interesting to follow what they do in that sacred little shop of theirs.

I've asked them to take lots of pictures. I also asked if I should leave my camera there but they preferred using their own camera. I expect getting a CD-ROM with pictures when I pickup the car. It would be really cool though if my contact at RUF could email me some pictures of the progress

Update with teaser pics.. :)

Christian: Aluminum rear axle bearings added to wishlist.. It never stops..

.. As for the heads, I don't think it's "normal" to replace them after only 45.000kms but apparently RUF wants everything to be 100%. It will be like a brand new engine.

Got some sneak pics today from RUF. The TurboR is coming together. The heads look "fresh" to say the least

..

As for the suspension, I'm leaving it totally up to RUF to set everything up: PSS9 settings, RUF swaybars, camber settings, toe, caster, ride height etc... After all, they will make everything handle well as a package no doubt. The walrod bushings are on their way to RUF as well because the front control arm bushings were sloppy..

Great Pics Viggo thanks for sharing.
I will do same soon with my TT mods.

In the meantime I was at a local Rennsport event this afternoon and met up with my friend Paul who has the only legal CTR in North America....lets say it was a RUF day!
