Looks like a cool color combination. Call RPM and see what they have to say about it. I'm sure they'll remember such a unique car...

I'd say that one is worth looking at for sure.

Car looks very nice. Great color.

Surprised the turbos had to be replaced with such low mileage, but they were probably not properly cooled prior to shut-down.

i know this car. This was a miami car and was serviced by my mechanic. the owner who is an acquaintance sold it in 06 had over 10 cars at the time and didn't drive this one. he sold it with around 17k miles and bought a 996tt for less money. he sold it in 06 for around 75k. if i recall the car had fabspeeed exhaust k 24s and giac programming. it was flawless at the time and still appears to be. i remember when he sold it that it went to texas.

Thanks sfbanchs...sounds like the car for sure. I spoke with the current owner today and he was a very nice fellow. He said the car came out of Florida and was registered to a company since new...then sold to RPM in 2006 and to the current owner for $81K with 15K miles on it. One Turbo was leaking oil, so he changed them both. He did all of the other maintenance because he wanted the car to be perfect as it was going to be a "keeper"...but things changed and he has to downsize his collection. He put close to $20K in the car!!!

Interesting color, which I wud say shud be looked at in person, just to confirm. As it appears on Autotrader, the color is quite appealing, dark hint to it. Yet when looking at this other example, its seems more of pale green!

Wow....Willhoit! Sure looks more stunning captured the Willhoit way!

More surprising is the asking?? Didn't realise dealers jack up prices between hands that much ($18,000) ??

PS. Zedder - though you're the one who bought this beauty from Mr Cook, and it was on its way to Ontario!!

Elporscha...I was thinking about the car seriously, but was on the fence regarding the color. Apparantly, there was another Canadian interested also. I had a Rennfax done yesterday on a Silver on black '97 TT with Sport seats and some other nice options. 32,000 miles for $55KUS (equivalent). The buyer failed to disclose a repainted hood and front bumper due to an accident. What a waste of time!

I think I am going to buy another 'listers 13,000 mile C2S. He's a great guy and I feel very comfortable buying from him. We're negotiating right now...
