Gasman - You could always live in the 993TT. Not much in the way of square footage, though.

^Parnelli, this car sold quick. In about 1 week, Greg got an offer from a Canandian buyer IIRC for his asking price in the low-mid $50K.

Great car, and it stays in the "Rennlist Family". Win-win.

Well, it's time for a final update on the fate of Greg's tt! To recap, Fed Ex'd from Houston to Roger Jobs Porsche, Bellingham. Cudos to Peter Drake, in service, who really went beyond the call in accepting vehicle, storing it etc. Importation was smooth. Car sat in Vancouver for a month to get some repairs, most of which I knew of from PPI, but of course, as one peels some layers off an onion....
1. Could not depress clutch at all after car sitting for a few hours. Clutch slave cylinder replaced as per PPI; needed new accumulator and a "block" or one way valve assembly also and now it's perfect.
2. Luggage compt carpeting completely soaked with clutch fluid and ruined - replaced (those aren't cheap...).
3. Shift rod seal replaced.
4. Door strap - creaking like a barn door - door disassembled and strap replaced.
5. Battery dead 1 day after arrival -replaced.
6. Small but deep crease in front bumper - bumper had significant damage underneath, requiring signif work, foam pieces important to air flow missing, tubes which vacuum condensation from headlights at speed missing. Decided to convert to Euro bumper while at it. Repainted. $3K for bumper work...
7. Alignment
8. Day time running lights
9. Custom installed radar/laser jammer system - very handy as it turns out...
10. Removed tinting from door windows - illegal here. Ironic when the thing a Canadian driver is most likely to be holding on his lap when pulled over is a beer or hockey stick and not the standard issue AK 47 of some locales, heh heh.

All in all, spent $10K on this lot, $5K elective kit. Pics are after fresh detailing.

Fantastic car, love the red interior (if my wife pokes me with the "Flamingo instead of Flamenco" stick one more time, I'm buying her a white mini van).

We drove 5 hours each way to Vancouver in it on the weekend with 4 days worth of luggage - no problemo! Will be even better when the baby switches to forward facing seat. First Porsch was a new 06 Boxster S, which was really a great car, but lacked the shape and obvious appeal of a legendary air cooled turbo. The turbo is all about delivering the goods with no drama - awesome.

Pics are in Stanley park, Vancouver. The Euro bumper/lights looks odd in pics, as it picked up the amber turn signal bulb behind the white lenses.

Many thanks to all those who chipped in their 2c along the way.

Hillsdonsmith, car looks great!

Do you have the part number for this "one way valve assembly". Anyone know more about this? Is this an "add on" or do our cars normally have this part? Thanks.

Is a stock part - will ask mechanic next time I see him, as to exact description/part #.
