Default Anyone know this 1996 Turbo?

It's a 1996 Turbo 18k miles, Arena Red with gray leather located in Portola Valley, CA. Went to see it yesterday. One owner with clean Carfax. The car has been repainted. Not a bad job, but in need of a good wet sand to make it perfect. She says husband went through some brushes and scratched the car, with no body damage. They lived in a heavily wooded area with brushes everywhere. She is little old lady type and seemed to be be telling the truth. Stated husband was ill or due to health issues he hadn't driven the car at all the last 5 years. I don't want to throw their name out, but has anyone else seen this car. What you think its worth? Thanks Ed

Options?
What is thier asking price?

Arena red is a great color!

Regardless, you will need a good PPI.

If it has not been driven in 5 years, could be some things that need to be done.

I would say somewhere in the 60's. Of course, if a dealer got a hold of it, could be asking in the 70's

Car is stock. Has sunroof and full leather. What other options do I look for? Don't want to mention price until the sale is complete. I have a verbal commitment to buy it.

Sports seats are a favorite option.

"Full leatther" was standard on turbos, but additional leather items were available, like the ***** and such.

Aluminum gauges, shift **** and e-brake are other options to look for.

There should be a list of the options underneath the front hood

Just a few options that come to mind.

Car will need new tires for sure (figure $2K min.).

The mileage is low (18K). That could be a good thing or a bad one.

No sport seats, but has new tires. Test drove yesterday and was amazing. Lady was in car, so I didn't go all out. She looks at least 65, so didn't want any issues. Was just happy she let me drive it.

Does it have full history and documents since day 1? I would expect this from a single owner car.

65 year-old women love to be on boost. You should have nailed it! LOL.

Go get an excellent PPI, and buy that bad-boy. Good luck!

Is this the same car that was discussed on 2 /22/10?.It is the same color, total repaint, and in the Bay Area. The mileage is different,One says 15,000 and the other 18,000.

The car from the OP here is arena red, not sure the car from max95se is arena red, although post #2 is from someone owning an arena red turbo w/picture, thus a conclusion that max95se car is arena red. Maybe I missed something!
