It is unreal what happened. It starts with the purchase of the car. On the eighth day, I was driving it and I was stopped by some guy in a parking lot. He asked if the car was for sale. I replied everything is for sale for the right price. When I told him the miles, his eye's opened wide. Before you know it, he gave me a great offer and car was sold. He didn't tell me he was a dealer tho. I'm still pinching myself. At first I didn't want to sell it, but the offer was too good. Only drove the car 150 miles, so never got to enjoy the car. Now in the market of another 993TT.

I'm still pinching myself. If I had the car longer and made it personable I wouldn't of sold it. But I just got the car, so it was much easier to sell it. The fun starts again for my new Porsche. I found a great deal on a 07 GT3 and GT3 RS, but still need to test drive them. I doubt I wouldn't like them, but not the same as a air-cooled turbo. Before I sold the 993TT, I met up with my friend with a 997TT. We swapped cars for a short drive. Performance wise the 997 blew away the 993, but the 993 was more fun to drive and raw. 997 had a luxury feel to it, like a Lexus. Softer leather, smoother ride, less road noise, and GPS(OMG).

Thats exactly the point that makes people all over, crave the aircooled 993tt's. It's the rawness of it all, hand made cars, from exterior to simple hardened interior, faithfull to F. Porsche original concept of compact sized racing automobiles. The 996, 997, etc...all departed from the concept, in such radical way, that they turned Japanese...... just another Lexus (made in Stuttgart)... (

wow! that was fast! That must have been a really nice offer especially
if you factor the sale tax and registration you just paid to the DMV....
nice! will keep you posted if I see a barn find like that again...

Never title the car yet. Drove 3 times for around 200 miles. Registration had just been paid with the 2011 stickers. I wasn't going to mention it on the forums, but the Rennlist detectives found it on Ebay. Was just going to buy another one and enjoy it. My buddy came by my house today and wanted to see the car. I told him I sold it. He didn't believe my story and swears I was lying about the purchase.
Max95se, don't want to rub it in, but I believe you went to view the car first. It's a weird feeling that I made money on a dealer.
