I just looked at the Ruf roster again, and we have TWENTY (20) Rufs in the Western states, distributed roughly as follows:

CA: Steve (Rufus), CP, Bill S., KD126500, Rufracer, RTurbo01, Cannoli, Ruf Guy (John), JayM, Kmy, Diemetzger, bb993TT, 993fvr.

Settle: Greg (C2s), Silversurfer

Idaho: Shonf,

Calgary: Penoli,

Vancouver BC: Shawson, 996 Carrera (Dan),

New Mexico: Pranqster

These I considered reasonably within driving distance if each other.

Two years ago, we had an epic Ruf gathering in Dallas, and it may be time for another pow wow. Sooooo...id anyone up for a MAJOR Ruf gathering? I am open to dates and location. Of course places with superbly fun roads will ne high of the list.

This is by no means only for the above Rennlisters, ANYONE with a passion for Porsches (hello Terry, Javier, the Texas Gang, Chuck etc.) are more than welcomed.

Please indicate your interest here for such a gathering, and suggestions for convenient locations. Based on that, I will try to organize this event further.

Add me to the list. Take a peek at Gateway, Colorado. Its halfway between Denver and Colorado Springs. Its a resort and museum, owned by the guy that owns the Discovery channel (I've heard). Spring time in the Rockies.
