I saw a Ferrari 360 spyder once with a big fat guy in it (60+) smoking a cigar with the top up (not folded down). It was like fog inside the car, you could hardly see him. A bit of smoke was going out through the windows (was cranked down about a haf inch). His vanity plate said "GR8NBED". I just had to laugh..

In California they issue the plates in order by year. A 1997 car, if issued a plate new in 1997, should be 3Sxx123 3Txx123 or 3Uxxx123. Because I just bought my 1997 from the owner in Texas, I was issued a new plate of 6Jxx123. To me, it looks wrong having a new plate on a 13-year-old car. I notice these things. Weird, I know. So, my answer was to go with a personalized plate. My three choices were 993TT, T993T, 97 993TT and TT993TT. I ended up with TT993TT.
