Default Vanity plate question.

As some of you know I recently bought a black 96 TT. I've been thinking about a personalized plate. Would "BLTZKRG" be inappropriate/offensive?

The car is fast and of course German and I like to race people but I certainly don't want people to think that I am some **** wanna-be either. What do you think?

I tend to shy far away from personalized plates. Seems very kitschich to me and I don't think it adds any value.

I don't think most people will even understand blitzkreig, so I don't think it'll be offensive, but I don't think I'd want it on my car either.

Just my opinion.

Its YOUR car do whatever you want. Good personalized plates are ones that you and a few people will ever understand imo

I dont think thats offensive at all either

Blitzkrieg (German, "lightning war"; listen (help·info)) is headline and Anglicised word describing force concentration of tanks, infantry, artillery, air power and rapid speed to break through enemy lines, and once the latter is broken, proceeding without regard to its flank.

I think "air power and rapid speed" is a totally adequate way to describe the 993t.

I used to dislike vanity plates for my own car only because I didn't want to give authorities an easy way to remember me. Then I figured they'd remember this car anyway and eventually settled with some(even though its no longer registered for street use, I keep the rear tag on)

I like vanity plates.

"BLTZKRG" is very creative.

I also agree with Spartan, that a good vanilty plate is subtle.

Each to their own & you can do whatever you want with your car & plate, though for you to ask the question if offensive or not hints that you are uncomfortable with it.

I would imagine that to many who would see the plate & understand it, you might as well have "**** TT" on the car....

Just a thought.

This is accurate. Still on the fence, but leaning away from it.

I didn't understand what that meant. Still don't! But if thats what you like, do it.
We are only allowed 6 numbers or letters here, and I have just ordered a plate.
It's ZROH20
I reckon this is a cool plate, and a plate that only an enthusiast will understand.

An application for a vanity plate in Colorado was recently rejected. It seems that they were vegitarians and wanted to annouce to the world their love of tofu.

The requested plate read "ILUVTOFU"

Beware of Uintended consequences : )

I think that plate would be an excellent trigger to get the car keyed by someone you'd least expect to do it. Even if you meant no offence with it.

My 2c.
