Javier,

That trip from Dallas is one of my highlight reels. Your car is amazing, and will be a great memory for you. And you, my friend, are a menche. I hope we don't lose touch.

I don't mean to derail or hijack the thread, but are the Ruf cars such as this one built with different rods? I know that cams are changed but was wondering if the rotating assembly is more stout than my TT?

Ruf DOES offer titanium rods, but doesn't normally do them as part of a standard Turbo R rebuild.

True that. My PO paid $7k extra (I think) for titanium rods in my BTR.

Dude, no need for the "roll eyes" BS. I am well aware that these cars have a back seat. I own a '97 993 TT. My point was (and if you would have read correctly) that I spoke w/ someone who had REMOVED the back seats and installed a sound system.
you're right
i apologize

i guess i'm just a bit pissy about Javi's car leaving the neighborhood.

Enjoy!

Craig-

No worries, man. I appreciate the apology. RL is such a great site and we are all big fans of these fantastic cars. I'm sure we all would just like to be treated as equals here and be here to help and support each other. I bet it is tough seeing that car leave your neighborhood, though!
