No, not really - unless you know Dieter really well (as Porschemeister seems to).

What bb993tt said +1.

There are, I believe, currently 20 cars in the Andial Registry.

Yeah I had to "settle" for Arctic silver when I got rid of Frank (who is Polar), in order to snag Andie.

Considering the '96 Andial advertised in Pano Dec 09 for 87500$ with 29xxx miles, which I understand sold in a day or so, how does this one at Ruf compare price wise with 77xxx miles at 75,900$?

Yasin
According to the Andial Registry this is a 3.8 car.

Hi to the board,
I've been on vacation and vowed not to take my lap top so just catching up. Andial stll services the 3.8 converstions that they did. They will still do a conversion but be prepared to wait as they have a number of special projects in the works.

You want an Andial 3.8 motor...be prepared to part w/about 2/3'rds the price of the 3.8 car at Ruf...Very expensive...basically I think you keep the case and crank and chuck the rest...ok probably keep the heads, but when they are done w/them they don't look like what you gave them.....its a real BIG ordeal....

One should expect around $40k-$60k+ for a solid full 3.8 twin plug build from reputable builders, depending if you go with stock heads, or EVO heads, what IC, etc..and full internals upgrade. Anything short of that would be compromising on some front. This is of course the ongoing turn-key project builder rate, not the cousin/friend/brother in-law etc.. special price. Think about that, and the price of a used Andial in the $80s with a recent build and you will be doing a bargain regardless of the resale value angle for modified engines.

The Andial rebuild for this one was done at 42xxx miles, so 35k miles.

Jean is right on target. Not to split the baby, but from quotes I've received from the best builders I'd say expect $50k all day long and a very VERY long wait anywhere you have it built. 3.8's are difficult engines to get right and you only want the best, most experienced to build one of these or you'll likely end up w/a melted lump of very expensive parts.

In my opinion, a good Andial car is an extremely attractive proposition for anyone in the hunt for a 993TT. I like them better than the TurboS and they are more rare.

Question for you Andial experts. We know that Andial has a great reputation for engine building, but do they manufacture any of the parts that go into their 3.8 or is it all off the shelf? I do believe they had their own intercooler, but what about the P&C's, turbos, cams, tuning, clutch, exhaust??? Thanks
