Default Wheel Quandary

I currently have two sets of wheels for Andie:
Factory Hollowspokes in great condition and a set of RUF 8.5 and 10 by 19 also in great condition.
I like to run R comps in the summer and regular tires during the rainy season.

I'd like to get a set of 8.5 and 11 by 18 for the R comps and keep either the RUFS or the Hollowspokes for my rain tires.

The catch is I want to keep the car somewhat "period" with Porsche Motorsports as the theme, since Andie is a full-boat Andial conversion with mostly Porsche parts. (I'm working on a GT2 wing and splitter as we speak.)
I was thinking of BBS Motorsports wheels but I'm told they are too delicate in the rim halves for the street. (Andie is not tracked). Also I don't really care for Speedlines or 996 wheels.

I'm open to swapping either set of wheels towards the eventual choice.

Any ideas?

Scott,

You crazy person. How about a really good set of high performance dry tires for year round use... hell it only rains once or twice during the entire winter in SoCal. Have a happy Thanksgiving... I hope all is well with you and the family.

Hey Steve. Best to you and yours also.
Yes i might could get some PS2s and be happy, but I still want 8.5 and 11s.

Scott,

Go for some MESH style wheels - CHampion Motorsports or Cargraphic - same/similar look as BBS - but more durable...

Happy Thanks giving (not that we have it here )

SImon.
