RS Tuning was running in limp mode courtesy of disconnected IAT temp sensor so about 520PS, 1470kg and high drag GT2 bodywork on 99 RON fuel
Ruf was quicker and impressive although on the drag out of the bottom corner the RS was in 3rd and the Ruf in 2nd hence the acceleration differential- the owner has just taken delivery of his new CTR 3

I would say the 490 TurboR compared to an RS 520 car would have been as quick to 200kph at around the 12s mark then it would lose out as the speed rises above 200kph and the hp starts to show. Remember Ruf did/does clever things with gearing, weight and aerodynamics (see above) which make a difference - as I found out
The turboR 490 will by definition be more responsive because of its K16 based turno vs K24 for the RS.
