A colleague wanted a ride so I made this movie for him of the ride. That's a turbo-charged Miata that passes me at the end; the turbo was the size of a dinner plate!

It's the berms between the track and the, fenced off, trees that get you into trouble. I think the track is almost 60 years old and I've not heard of anyone hitting a tree; berms and walls, yes... .

do you have a version without the music? i love hearing the engine singing and tires squeaking..

WOW!

That's a blast from the past. I did several WERA 6 hour endurance races on motorcycles at that track back in the '80's-'90's. Kenny Roberts was there at the last one with his Team Marlboro YZR 500gp bikes for the formula USA sprint races the next day. They finished 1-2 of course!

Great video, nice driving. Very smoooooth.
