Always thought we should sell them in sets of seven - six for the engine and one for the desk!

(Hmmm, maybe that's not a bad idea, it would increase sales by 17%..... )

They certainly look good, I would have definitely considered them if I hadn't just re-built my engine (maybe when i do the next re-build).
Oil cooling of the heads sounds sensible. Will be interesting to see the results.
best regards
Steve

Revival from the dead....But relevant to my current needs.. It's been 1Year+ now, from what I read here a number of sets have been sold very quickly and must have been tested thoroughly.. But no update to Spartan's post...Any feedback?

Those could be the same, unfortunately we don't know if any were sold, and if they were, what is the feedback on them and the hard data..

Knowing the excellent self promotional skills on the forum of Mr 9M for his products, had these sold like pancakes as mentioned earlier and were succesful, I have no doubt this thread would have been the busiest on this forum

Hi Princeton

Hope all is well. I think the sad avatar is the one that I have on now!!

I just added a 7GT2, the 993TT is still with me and needs some engine work, thought I would go for a full new set of heads and P&C at once.

Capricorn or Porsche heads seem to be the only two options for anyone who is serious.

Quick update:

The FVD heads are from 9m, obviously Capricorn do not make them as we have an exclusive on the design & manufacture.

The story behind the FVD heads is that I sent *****'s a set of pre-production 9m 993 turbo billet heads 18 months ago for evaluation & testing, however in spite of several promises to run them I believe he has still done nothing with them. It would have obviously been beneficial if he had the courtesy to return them so that I could have them tested elsewhere (inspite of numerous phone calls & emails) and the unfortunate truth is that he's not paid for the ones he has and I can't afford to have another set made before going into full production until they are fully tested.

Can I suggest that if anyone would like to run these, please contact me directly and I will see what I can do to recover that set for testing?
