#31
WOW! That is my dream car. Perhaps I will be forced into painting my red turbo. Is that Riviera or turquoise in the picture
kcphuah-- How goes the search?
Similar to what your dream car might look like (except for the engine compartment):
Porsche used car information 911 (Type993) 993 Carrera S rare six speed MT model

Mark-- I don't even rate being called Santa's helper Lots of interest in this. Those wanting to buy: Don't get your hopes up just yet -- I doubt it's for sale. In the off-chance I confirm it is, I'll PM the OP, then those that PMed me, in order. Likwise if I stumble upon others available.
IIRC, the above RB TT was last sold by 911Virgin.com ~late 2005. It's right-hand drive. Those in the UK may have a head-start, especially if you're family with Henry or Tom there. Near Uxbridge & Heathrow; helo pad on-site.
I may have basic info on the current owner. I'll post here if I find it.

Dont think that car is for sale, its a UK car that was used in a recent (prob 2 years ago now) magazine shoot for a buyers guide for the 993 turbo. It attends most of the shows in the UK that I have been to, and its immaculate. there is also a GT2 in the same colour on these shores.

I know, right? Amazing interest from one photo. Please keep hopes realistic.
Besides, this being for sale would be like ... PorscheMeister selling his black GT2
... or JJayB selling Blackie, his twin-plug 571 hp ANDIAL-powered beast.
Hmmmm. Must be something in the water.
For you dreamers, you may want to rush some of that water to the last owner, Paul Jennings. Got nothing to lose.
That's public info; he posted his above name & the following via Pistonheads, where he's PaulTJE (BTW, his post count is 993!!!)
Retired Air Traffic Controller in Berks, UK. Sounds like his research shows only 4 RB 993 TTs in the world, & the other 3 are LHD.
Again, don't want to get anyone's hopes up. 'Cuz if anything materializes, Santa's gonna be jonesin' bad for a ride in a lucky RLer's Smurfy new sled!

how come that my car was for sale for over 10 months on Henry's web site before I bought it? Perhaps people won't put their own money on the line. The cars become fantasy items but are not bought. Will I have a queue of people knocking at my door when I come to sell it? I doubt it......
