Nice shop! I need to see this place. So, they restore for Porsche Motorsports? Did they say why they are sending the 917 and GT1 to Portugal?

Scott,

Thanks for the great photos. What amazing machinery. The latest Road & Track has a short photo blurb on the amazing 917s. For those that have never seen one in person, they are positively TINY cars. They look like a 3/5 scale race car. Amazing.

I hope that Jochen will add some commentary on his old GT1. That really looks like a fun car to drive. And what a beauty. And the "beasty-boy"... 935s. Zowie.

Hot stuff. Maybe Mike & Ed should sell tickets and conduct tours?

WOW!

Thanks for the awesome pics. They would have had to kick me out of there... after making me clean up the drool.

Writing from Monterey. Please let me know if you're aware where these amazing machines will be, especially Jochen's 993 GT1, if it's not off to Portugal.

Thanks for posting. Fabulous machinery. Would love to see a 917. Trying to get the decision maker to agree to go to Stuttgart. Museum is only place I'm likely to ever see one.

Default facts!

please disregard everything you have read in this thread above. most "facts" posted are incorrect regarding the destination, departure and the ownership of the cars.
all cars here are privatly owned and were not sent here through PMNA.
we welcome visitors and are more than happy to answer questions as well to schedule your photo op. then these things don't happen.
