Not sure there is any advantage running 12's unless you want to go wider than 315?
As low as your car is I think your just asking for problems. Any pics of the wheels?

You are absolutely right, since I am probably going with 315 and 245 Yoko AO48s.
Now my only dilemma is do I sell my 19" 8.5 and 10 RUFs or my 8 and 10 993tt hollowspokes.
What ever I keep will be my rainy season wheel tire package.
