The only considerations are to make certain your commute is long enough to bring the engine up to operating temperature to make certain you do not build up gunk. You also should allow the turbos to cool off for a couple of minutes when you get to work and when you get home again.
Otherwise these cars were made as Autobahn commuters for German executives. ENJOY!

I don't, but would in a heartbeat. And my dog loves a spirited run in a straight line, through she prefers the front seat. You might say the bitch loves boost.

It's my DD except in winter when the salt hits the road-even more fun tuned by Protosport to 700+HP, although I do alternate days with my 996TSCab-also tuned-to EVOMS' GT700. God I love summer.

I drive mine daily and agree with all of the above comments, except the comment about good gas mileage. I get 12-13 mpg all-in, and that's with a majority of my commute in 6th gear on the freeway (with no boost except for little bursts to shoot through other cars' blindspots, etc.). If I go out and drive a twisty road where I am on-boost a lot, I get like 9 mpg....which is worse than the carbuerated stroker motor in my muscle car. But who cares, it looks good, smells good, and still makes me look back and smile every time I park it and walk away.

Mine shows 20mpg for most driving and it's a 3.8L.
Anyway amen to daily driving and admiring of this car.

Honestly, I do a combo city/hwy and routinely get 16+ MPG. Highway, if you don't boost it gets 20/22MPG and with boost 17/18. Maybe my K24's have the secret german fuel miser vortec swirl atomizer (as only seen on TV).....My right foot absolutely doesn't!

I burned 21 gallons of 93 octane at Watkins Glen last Friday driving four 25-minute sessions with the PCA NNJR Club, totalling about 100 miles-less than 5 mpg.![ooops](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon501.gif)
Of course, mileage may vary.
