Canepa design has a 1996 Twin Turbo with 3k miles and they are asking $95k. The color is Polar Silver, which they describe as "paint-to-sample," but I thought Polar Silver was a stock color in 1996. Also, the car has a "werks" center console--is this a stock option from Porsche?

I thought the polar silver was a stock colour, too. Sensational example - I don't think they get any cleaner than this but I still think it is overpriced and no sports seats. I can't figure out why so many of these don't have the sports seats. I think that would be the first thing that I would want to change. Now, if only those lottery numbers will work for me this week....

Polar Silver was a standard color in '96. (They switched to artic silver in '97).
If you have the VIN, you can call 1800-PORSCHE and get the options codes for the car. If it's paint-to-sample, it'll show up there.

I saw this TT at Canepas a couple of days ago.Very nice although normal scrapes on the Cats.Like everything else there, too expensive in this economy.
I had never seen the upstairs Museum as I think it was just completed.Very impressive with a 917, 908,962 and others.I would have taken pictures but forgot the camera

If anyone is interested in the TT at Canepas I went back to Canepas today and took a bunch of pictures of it .Like I said before it is very nice and I really like the Polar Silver but too expensive.Somebody actually called up to inquire about it while I was there.
I will post some pitures later. They also have a Pantera with what is believed to be only 100 miles on it.Hard to believe.
I have posted some pictures of my Vintage Bmws before on here or the other Rennlist 993 forum,I can't remember.
I also went to the Old Woody meet at the Wharf in Santa Cruz. There must have been over 200 Woodies there.Would you like me to post some pics? These were some of thec nicest Woodies in the world.

Terrible pictures!!! I need to take a camera class.Wasn't set on correct mode.Is the car perfect,no.A few tiny rock chips on the nose,a few scrapes on the Cats. Not sure about the console. Is it aftermarket?

Thanks for the pictures and the close-up of the console in particular. I talked to Bruce Canepa about the console and he said it a factory option, but quite rare on a 993. I have not seen one before.
