Thanks guys for all the input. I'm talking with the seller so we'll see. I really appreciate all the comments. I was torn between a 2004 GT3 and a 993TT and I'm to a point where the 993TT wins out just about every time. Don't get me wrong as I am not dissing the GT3..... I just love the rush from the turbocharged cars. My wife keeps asking me why I don't sell my 1979 930, and I just smile at her - she would never understand! Thanks again guys. Film at 11!

Keep the 930 and buy a TT if your budget allows. You'll find yourself driving the TT as the "luxury car" and the 930 as the "sports car". The 993 is worlds apart from the torsion bar cars in total feel. Do it, you won't regret it.

You can't go wrong with the TT. I used mine for daily driving anytime I could... Great cars.

Mine was a daily driver.. The car loves to be driven and I believe ran best when driven daily.. Much more practicle than I would have thought.

funny this topic should come up....

I just drove my 993TT halfway to and from work today (getting oil changed).

It was nice!!

The only caveat: I don't have covered parking at work. Otherwise I'd drive it more often.

Yep. But they run the best after a track day or two!
