I am ordering the 993 RS/GT2 carpet for my car, Porsche dealer says they dont do much of carpet fitting, but know of good fitters around.

While making the order, I was thinking of whats best glue to apply for fitting the carpet on floor. Porsche sales, adivsed: HD automotive spray glue (Neoprene)! Whats that? No idea! Looked on the web - not clear what this product is/quality wise.

Anyone had experience applying this compound. Is it good, durable - should say, is it the best type to use. Dont wana waste brand Porsche carpet on some average quality glue.

Purchase 3M carpet glue and buy some of the associated adhesive remover as well. You can get spray glue or get the fast tack adhesive which comes in small tubes. I prefer the fast tack as you can still move the carpet a little before it sets
