Exclamation FS: 800HP 993 Turbo Gemballa Speedster

Re-listed. New auction: Porsche 993 3.6 twin turbo Gemballa, # 110366830434. No longer offered for parting out.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"800+ hp.using factory gt2 parts"
Parting out, or 'buy it now' for $70k USD: eBay 1997 Porsche 911 993speedster, item #110354719801.
FS since '06 or earlier, in various states of completion. '08 eBay attempt advertised a completed car. At least the seller's clearly representing as merely a project car now.

More information at these directly-related threads:
Aug '06... 993 Speedster on Ebay..
Nov '06... Ebay 97 Gembella Turbo---owned by 2 MLB players in 3 months-Scam?

It's got a salvage title.

Gemballa's stuff is so overdone for me.

Even in the most bullish market, that thing couldn't ask 50% of a perfect, no stories car. Where does that put it as a roller with no promises; $22-33K? And subtract maybe 20% for salvage title? $18-27K? Sad, but that's probably where this thing is at -- hardly worth the labor to part it out. Pity -- if someone had the inclination to strip it, bench the engine, paint it a decent Porsche color and get it running perfectly, surely it's a good $40-55K car. Again, if you could convince an authorized Gemballa shop (assuming you can find one with the requisite talent and resources) to rebuild it, it could be worth another $10K and at least it would have the cred to take it somewhere and drive it. A pity to see more and more 993's at the end of the road like this one.

Why is it written as if he is selling a supercharged Pinto wagon. And not the cool one you might be thinking of.

Typos throughout and many of his plurals are possessive.
Attention to detail? Nah

Default Sold!

Update: appears to have sold for $42,000 'buy it now' ... without an engine or transmission!

From auction:
This car has $200k invested in it.
Without an engine or trans? Hmmm.

eBay 1997 Porsche 911 993speedster 3.6 twin turbo Gemballa.
