Default Guard LSD and Mobile 1

What fluid should I use with a new Guard rebuilt LSD and new steel synchros? Mike at Guard says I should use the stuff from Lubrication Engineers but I have to buy 3 galons at a time.

You should use the Mobil 1 Delvac 75/90 in your trans. The standard Mobil 1 75/90 that you buy at the local autoparts store is not the correct fluid. It has too many friction modifiers in it and it does not allow the syncro to properly grab the gear and spin it up.
