Default k16 -> K24

So the work has begun. Many thanks to the DIY's on this site. I have removed the bumper cover and exhaust, fortunately the exhaust hardware was easy this time. Next step drain the oil, remove K16's and install the K24's I pick up from Stephen @ imagine auto.

I think I am going to go with FVD's software. My issue is this... I have a Porsche Factory tuned 430 hp ECU on a '97 chip that I want to trade with someone who has a stock '97 ECU. I think it would be terribly wasteful to send out a superb 430hp chip to be reprogrammed when someone with a stock one looking to upgrade could trade with me at a steep discount!!

Anyone want to wake up their stock '97TT???

no hybrid, just off the shelf K24's. Once I blow them up I'll send them out for some modification.

I was quoted 800 per turbo to just put the higher flowing wheel in there. Think I'm going with FVD to program. But I want to sell/trade my Factory Tuned 430 ECU for a stock 97.

Blouche quoted you $800 per turbo? With 18g compressor wheels? Wow they really raised their prices :/

Smart finding a stock 97 ecu. There was one on ebay last week for $700ish did you look there? I have a local friend that refuses to mod his 993tt but if your other ecu is a factory tuned ecu upgrade maybe he will go for it. Let me email him....

Blouch is what I did.. 18g wheels both turbos for $900.00... Runs like a champ. I used Autothority to do the tune... Works great. He now has the program for the 18g hybrid set up...

K16's are off. Stripped some hex bolts on removal so waiting for those to come in before the K24's go back on. Inside the left header looks to be a less than ideal weld...
