Default True storey

The young guy who works for me just showed me this post from his Subaru forum. This is true, I just cut and pasted this..
I can't post the comments he got after because you can imagine what they said to him.

ORIGINAL: MarkNieb

My car was idling like crap the other day so I figured since I just got it, it may have been awhile since anyone changed the oil out. I decided to go ahead and change the oil. I used Mobile 1 synthentic oil like I was reccomended on here. Anyways, I drain out the oil and noticed it was extremely dark and even after 10 minutes of draining, it was still coming out. I decided to go ahead and flush it to make sure all the bad stuff got out. I hooked up the hose, ran water through the engine, started it up and was waiting for the water to come out clean (The engine never went above idle so I was told this would be ok). Anyways, About 3 minutes into this, then engine starts shaking and shuts off. I figured it was all cleaned out so I plugged it up, added the oil and figured I was ready to go. WRONG! The car won't freaking start now. This car has been nothing but trouble for me, I think I am done with it.

No prank. True storey.
It was a Mustang forum by the way. I "assumed" it was a Subaru forum because I see him surfing it all the time, while I pay the lazy little ****.

I had a friend do it back in the day with a new CR 250. He started with the carb then the crank case.

I worked with a girl in the 80's who poured several quarts of oil into her radiator when her car overheated. Surprisingly did little harm.
I also knew a guy who poured 2 tubes of AlumaSeal radiator stop leak into his valve cover to stop a leaky rear main seal. Not surprisingly did a great deal of harm.
I completely believe this story.

My father tells me of a story when he was in shop class changing oil. He drained the trans oil by mistake and added another 5 quarts of engine oil to the engine. Woops.

I actually feel a bit sorry for him. He has been totally beaten up on that board.
He really thought this was OK to do.
