Another fascinating question is why wouldn't this dealer take $90,100.00 for it in this economy? It's not like it's an "S"...

May be the owner has a collection of 90 cars and just want to look at them instead of them driving. Which is just as enjoyable with these sexy cars..

I reckon it's a waste as well. It will probably start leaking as well.
Hot looking TT though.

I am happy that cars like this exist. He has been keeping it for one of us. It is nice to know that if I wanted another one they can be found.

What's up with the dealer sticker on the bumper?

BTW, they do that all the time.

That alone is a $50k reduction in price...

I was watching this car, along with another low mileage one from same dealer, both of which expired on eBay today as reserve prices weren't met. I talked to the salesman the other day and he said they basically use eBay as an advertising method.
Since I'm considering a 993TT, my fear of these low mileage cars would be that they could require a lot of work in the coming years (unless one plans to park them in a garage for another 10 years). While the low miles look appealing, I find myself more attracted to higher mileage cars that have had documented top end rebuilds, new clutches, suspension upgrades, etc. Is this sound reasoning?

BTW, I don't think that is a sticker on the bumper. It looks to me like it was digitally added to the photo.

you make a fine case for buying a higher mileage car. plus you can buy one with many of the mods already done. of course be sure to get a ppi. but there seem to be a few really nice modded higher mileage cars at fair prices over the past few months and with markets the way they are there may be more. another bonus is if you have a super low miles car I would feel guilty each time I drove it. so go for it

I think these cars should be driven. Storing them in a garage as collector only makes them good if you want to collect them. Drive the hell out of them and keep the maintance up. That is what they are engineered and built for.
