awesome pics of some awesome cars! One's supposed to roll through the Ruf store here in Dallas sometime soon. I can't wait to see it.

Not a fan of the new CTR as far as the aesthetics.

Is it just me or does the CTR3 look GIGANTIC?? Especially in that second photo with all of them side by side, viewed from the rear.

That front end of CTR3 looks too "cute" for a serious car. Looks just like the GT3-caricature golf cart that they have tooting around the new Porsche race development facility carrying parts and such.

It's the distortion from using a wide angle lens...

I don't think so....these cars are close enough to one another that the lens should not distort just one car, and wide angle lenses do not magnify toward the periphery, but rather magnify toward the center, making the center field objects bulge out. Why wide angles are not the best for shooting portraits: big nose.

Look at this photo again and do you really think it's the lens? The only way I can see that would be if the photo is a crop and CTR3 was actually in the center of the original pic (but that would be a strangely framed original shot). Even if so, this photo actually looks very free of distortions.

Road and Track estimated CTR3 at 76.5 inches wide (don't know if this is front or rear or average) while a CTR2 is quoted on various places on Web as 68.3 inches wide.

If it was lens distortion than the Yellowbird would appear wider than the middle car, which its not.
