I've heard to have the rear firmer (harder) than the front because of the engine/more weight at the rear.

I guess the best thing about PSS-9 or 10 is that with a couple or four twists we can all try it out for ourselves without going back to the shop. I am gonna crank them to 9 and 10 to see if I notice.

This is great! Ha Ha Ha. Why on earth would you have one product where 1 is hard and 9 soft, and another where 1 is soft and 10 hard. Just when you thought you had it worked out, you discover you have it back to front!

Well I can certainly testify that on the PSS-9s, 1 all round when driving on smooth winding roads is just fantastic, but completely intollerable on city roads. I think I'll opt for 6 front and 4 rear and see how that works for all round driving.

Rear soft = more understeer. Rear hard = more tail happy. But I don't think one or 2 clicks on pss(9/10) will make too much difference. Maybe front full soft and rear full stiff you'd feel a change vs the opposite.

probably not real world night/day differences with a click or two, but I like to know my TT's tail is happy at all times.

And I would assume say if I go to 11-in rear wheels that mod would go against tail happiness? Then I might want to dial the rear firmer than if the wheels were 10-in wide?
