As far as I know, all 993 race cars have the suspension in the outboard position, even narrow bodied 993 cups. All 993 street cars came in the narrow position.

To make this mod to a 993, you need to use a 964 crossmember, as 993 crossmembers do not have the second set of holes drilled. Alternatively, you could drill the holes yourself.

If you are still using 4wd, then you need to consider the axle length. The stock axles will not work. There are a couple ways to overcome this problem.

Chris, that is interesting about the crossmember. The 95 I checked had both sets of holes...perhaps it was leftover from the 964 parts bin. I just checked PET and the 94s list the 964 crossmember where the 95 and later list the 993 crossmember.

Of course you should do it, nothing sexier in my mind than a 993gt2 :-)
