993 GT2 For Sale (Australia RHD)
This RHD Polar Silver GT2 is for sale in Sydney at the Classic Throttle Shop. It's one of 7 RHD GT2's.
I had a quick look at it yesterday and it seems to be in excellent condition with 993 RS style Speedline for Porsche wheels (deep offset in the rear).

The car is absolutely stunning i went to see it the other day as i was near by. For any one in Sydney that place is defiantly worth a visit, you can peruse all the lovely cars and have breakfast or lunch as the have a cafe on site. UFO why can't it be road registered? i thought it would be ok as its RHD

According to official Porsche Cars Australia records there was 1 993GT2 sold in Australia.
Not sure if this is the one but if you look closely at the Photos on the website you can clearly see the Yellow ADR27 sticker in the engine bay.

Thunder,
The "ONE" GT2 offically imported by PCA is owned by a famous Race Driver (who has a large collection of P-Cars) and is BLACK.
BTW - there was more than one imported but I'll play along here.
The fact that this car has that yellow sticker (which you can BUY from any official Porsche Centre) proves nothing.....
As mentioned earlier the ONLY way the car can be registerd is if you EXPORT it, THEN apply for importation approval (which you most likely WONT get) and then re-import the car.
As the car stands now - it CANNOT be registered (no - not even rally rego) in Australia.
All of the above does NOT take away the fact that the car is BEAUTIFUL. I have seen it more than once myself - and it is just the ducks guts.

Interesting. I totally agree .
So basically it needs to be re-imported as a personal import with the yellow personal Import compliance plate.
