Sorry for the poor quality photo (it was from my phone).
it looked real in person. I didn't know that replicas even existed but it makes sense. I am not sure that the front lens and headlight ring are different as the quality of the photo is so poor, but the wheels and mirror are not correct. I guess it could be a replica or for some reason changed the wheels and mirrors.
In the june issue of Panorama is an article about Helmuth Bott R &D chief at Porsche 70-88 and how the 959 was his personal favorite project.

Sloan has had this 959 for sale for quite some time at a price $475k.

According to Keith Martin's book "Collecting Porsche", you actually have to send these cars back to the factory to have them serviced - could that be right?

a local rennlister was at the local dealer and this 959 was in for service and as it turns out is a converted 3.2......why? why? why?
