They are going to sell the wing off of a low mileage tt s?... I don't get it.
It doesn't appear to be totalled.

Hmm
If you look at the bottom of the auction it states that they have the wing in various different colors. I think the pic if for show only.

Ah, good catch Ron.
So... they have several 993 Twin Turbo S cars with low miles that they have removed the rear wings from in order to sell. Yeah. OK.

"Porsche 911 993 Twin Turbo "Turbo S" Aero Wing

Up for auction is a Turbo Aero Wing that came off a extremly rare low mile Porsche 911 Turbo S.

As you know this wing is getting very hard to find specially this particular" Turbo S" model, the wing is in good shape but does have a small scratch on top that should polish out. This is a bolt on and go application. "

I have a "real" Turbo S rear wing (purchased in the day as a spare part through a dealership.) I don't imagine there's any difference other than provenance between the factory aero kit and the turbo S item -- they're both the same heavy plastic resin stuff. I guess I should check the part number ...

If someone wants to pay north of $3000, I'm willing to consider offers. : )

For another $80K or so, I'd throw in the whole car ... that would make it easier for the buyer to get the wing home.

The $3K for the deck lid would go a long way to paying to have some intercoolers fabbed so I could "saddle mount" the things in the fenders and put a conventional tail on. Seems like a "win win" to me.
