Or so it seems. I admit that I haven't been shopping that long, but 69 Autotrader hits on 993TTs seems high in comparison to the manufacture numbers. Same search on 996TTs shows 364 listings (all variants).
Most of the 993's seem to be low mile cars (30k or less) - so I suppose it could be that these cars sit for sale for extended periods of time simply because of the asking prices, but wow...
Seems like a lot of listings.

I don't think there's really any "times" (recession or real estate market) connected to owners or their 993 Turbos on market, but for sure, anything over about 20 cars is extraordinary. I've seen the market with no 993 Turbos except for the dealers that scoop up the nice cars and flip them on huge mark-ups. As for 996 Turbos, they're like Camry's, so that's hard to count. But for the venerable 993 Turbo, I think you could argue that the "number of days on the market" is getting very long perhaps reflecting a lack of buyers rather than an unusual supply of sellers.
