Default PPI in Cincinnati

I need a recommendation for a PPI in Cincinnati? Dealer or independent as long as they know what their doing. What should I expect to pay?

I just paid approximately $350 for one a few weeks back in Houston (Protechnik). Paid about $250 for one in 2004 by a shop in Indianapolis (Euro Motorworks). I assume you are looking at a 993TT?

I hope it checks out. Cheers!

One other point, IMHO I would not typically recommend a dealer for a PPI on any air-cooled cars. Keep in mind that the dealers are typically familiar with the cars they see the most, for the most part, Porsches still enjoying their factory warranty (H20 cars).

Both of those Porsche dealerships in Cincinnati do NOT do a PPI. They only do a 27 point safety inspection and charge about $100.

Wright Tuning did the rebuild. I understand that it's not the best thing to have the shop that did the work do the PPI.

I don't have a real problem with it if there are no other shops in vicinity.

+1 on Wright Tuning but I understand your concern.

I spoke to John Wright and he said the leak down test would be a waste of time. He knows the car.

He did agree that a dealer or someone else should see the car and understands the issue.

Near Cleveland, I would highly recommend Steinel's. They did some work for me and I was very satisfied.
