I'm just guessing, since Andial isn't building anymore of these engines, that Scott is offering you his engine for free. Perhaps he will want your stock engine back for a trade. Nice offer Scott. Very much in the Rennlist spirit. .

Gee, thanks, Scott. I'll pay for shipping on both of them, just to be generous.

Instead of buying a second set of wheels the same, why not get some BBS or something different and refinish your existing ones, that way when you change the wheels you get a whole new look instead of the same but different colour.
also if doing the front respray why not front splitters or the bumpers sold on here similar to RUF?

Steve, what does this usually involve? Prep wise, primer, paint, do they require removal, cost? Thanks. I like the suggestion.

If you paint the rocker panels it might make the car look fat.

Its very easy to do. You drive to the body shop, describe what you want, then write the check when you pick up the car. No primer, sanding, painting required.

"If you paint the rocker panels it might make the car look fat."

Scott, I know you're teasing me, but actually, this is sort of true... it makes the car look lower, because the black rockers tend to blend with the shadows under the car, and make the car look higher. All-in-all, I think the Andial 3.8 twin plug is a better cosmetic upgrade.

No way! A black car requires all the same work to keep it clean as midnight blue, but none of the stunning results! (just kidding!)

Definitely keeping the bodywork nearly stock, probably just do techart ducts and maybe a Turbo S front spoiler.

So, Charlie, what finally made you bail on the gt3?
I think you made the right choice btw, at twice the price, it ain't twice the car.
