You can turn off PSM and it will be just YOU...

But it still kicks in-simply with a higher threshold.

No. The only time it kicks back in is if you lockup a front tire. If you have Sport Chrono, and enable Sport mode, then it requires both front wheels to be locked up (in ABS) to turn PSM back on.

PSM is OFF if you turn it off... You ARE in control...

unless you live on a canyon road, the 997gt3 offers a very jittery ride on the street and is a dog under 5500rpms. It is about as fast on a roll as a base Carrera under 80 mph, unless you wind the engine like an S2000.

A 997 GT3 is about the only car I'd consider as a replacement for my 993TT. I disagree with eclou regarding both the ride and power; I find both to be very nice and the sound of the engine/exhaust is to die for!

THe GT3 is a great car and better than the 996 GT3. I would have not left the fold (993TT) for a 996 TT
or a 997 TT I have driven both. They are designed for a different task. I found the GT3 to be much
more like my 993 TT than the other water cooled TTs. The 993TT is more raw like the 997 GT3.
Its a better fit in my humble opinion, and a path I have gone down. I felt remorse for moving to the 996 GT3 from the 993TT. With the 997 I dont feel that near as much. You wont either. Put the Sharkwerks pipe on and OH MY GOD it sounds like a Cup car. Its more Fcar sound than a Fcar!!!
You will love the 997 GT3. its so much more involving than a 996 or 997 TT

Go for it Charlie! I hope you get one of those loud colors like signal green or orange. You can always buy another 993 if you get bored with the GT3.

Looks like CJs. If I could see the interior I could tell. I helped him spec it out and I remember the interior.
It has red stitching and seat belts.
