Deposit conditional on PPI and go for it. Send to a dealer or good shop in his neighbourhood of your choice.

Distance should not be an issue I live in Canada and bought a car sight unseen on PPI only. The car was in Phoenix.

Agreed. Metallic Black... awesome. You will have to check out the maintenance records (engine rebuild). Callas in Torrance is very thorough with PPI but looks like the car is a bit further south. If you don't mind a higher mileage TT... this seems to be a good deal (pending the outcome of PPI).

Price seems low for mileage. Good deal if everything checks out.

I hope he meant... "replaced" clutch.

hehe...nice find. I just purchased a 993TT from CA and I'm in Raleigh, NC. Had $22k in receipts from an engine rebuild and some other stuff from Callas. Spoke with Tony on the phone regarding the car and was extremely forthright with info on the vehicle. I purchased it later that afternoon and had it in my driveway 5 days later.

Absolutely LOVE it.

Just make sure the PPI is done by an established/reputable shop.

Man... that's a sweet deal if it checks out. Definitely don't let distance be an inhibitor. Get a good PPI and fly out and drive it home. You'll love it.

http://mall.rennlist.com/scripts/fea...uery=retrieval

Ad price was amended from $47.5k to $49.9k.

However, did any RLister jump on it?

I shipped from Arizona to Ontario Canada. Distance is not an object. Just follow the program. i.e. PPI and if clean go look at it and drive it. If OK pull the trigger. Looks like a decent price for that mileage.
