Default Mobil 1 and brake fluid

First off, is the Mobil 1 Tri-Synthetic a new oil and if so is it meant to replace another one of the Mobil 1 products and is it something we should be using on the 993tt?

Second, for occasional track use (3 DE events per year) and street driving what brake fluid are you guys running? Is the Motul overkill for this type of usage?

not really for the price. ATE Blue, ATE 200, AP Racing, and Motul are all about the same price $15-$30 per quart and will work fine on a street car that is used for a few DEs.
