Yes...a multi-function head's up display would be sweet!

I had the Defi HUD on another car; didn't really like it too much. You have to put some film on the windshield and it always bugged me.
On my Turbo, I use a Blitz DC boost guage (http://www.machv.com/blitdcboosga.html) with a suction cup mount in the lower left corner of the windshield. It works great (multifunction) and looks good/clean and is simple to install (and move) given the suction cup mount.
Edit - Here is one for sale: http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=735266

Al
I have the Andial gauge and find it outdated and difficult to see. There are many options out there as mentioned above. However, I am really impressed with this particular one.

Here's my converted phone console with Defi Boost and Oil Temp gauges. The boost gauge is pretty but pretty useless in that location. I watch the oil temp gauge and pretty much ignore the boost gauge.

If it is a Apillar mount you want, get one made.
A friend had one made.
He took a boost gauge to a decent car sound installer, and they made a housing
it looked factory:

Here is mine.
Very simple, replaces the clock and easy to read.

Great examples, guys. I think I might start with the boost gauge in the left vent as per Andial's setup, then consider later one of the above options. I like the "quaint" VDO analog clock where it is, but I could see putting a digital boost readout into it. And the A-pillar setup, if done professionally, could work. Ideally, I would find someone to put a digital readout somewhere on the tach or speedo gauge without sacrificing the factory digital display items. I could then simply replace the left HVAC vent again back to "stock."

I have a console that I need to figure out what to do with...either gauges or a bearcat or a nav monitor.
