Default FS: custom short-ratio, AWD gear box (G50/32)

This is the last mod I'll be parting out of my car before it goes up for sale. I'm very reluctantly selling my box with core exchange for another AWD box in equally good working order.

Background:
For those of you who've been on RL for a while, the box was built for Glen who then sold it to Phil. I bought Phil's C4S and hence, the box ended up in my possession. Below is the most complete information I have on the box from the conversations I've had with Glen, Phil and various other parties:

Custom built with Motorsport syncros (all steel, I believe) and LSD. Ratios as follows:

1st gear (ratios unavailable but reaches speed of ~50mi/hr @ 6700) Most likely G50/32 RSCS
2nd gear 2.048 (stock US G50/20)
3rd gear 1.56 (stock Euro G50/21)
4th gear 1.241 (RSCS G50/32)
5th gear 1.031 (RSCS G50/32)
6th gear .0857 (custom, same as Leland Pate's)

The box is in perfect working order, though I am unsure how much life is left on the LSD. I will gladly have a local indie drive it and provide a review (as close as you can get to a PPI) and I'm sure I can convince another RLer or two who are experienced drivers/techs to provide their comments.

I prefer to sell in the NW but I will ship to other parts of the US and Canada at the buyer's expense. The RL price is $3,800 with core for another AWD box in equally good condition.

Please PM me if you're interested.

Very interesting. This box was built for a Turbo and yet all the inquiries are coming from the NA guys. Am I missing something?

Don't think the turbo's really "need" a short ratio box due to the available torque at lower rpm's, especially modified ones.

A G50/32 is a 2wd RS Clubsport box. All AWD gearboxes are G64 boxes.

persontally, I like short gears with the turbo cars, although I prefer a 5spd over a 6spd.

True enough, NA guys need every possible performance enhancement and the ability to stay on power through the rev band makes a huge difference. I'm sure it would make an equally significant difference in a Turbo but I guess there is less incentive for obvious reasons.

Geoffrey: My bad. Yes, it's a G64 and I only express the ratios based on the G50 because that's the information I've found to be available. I don't know if any G64s came with RSCS ratios but that's what my AWD G64 has, at least for 1st (maybe), 4th and 5th.
