A slightly **** comment I'm afraid, but in your description you state 575 torque -this is in Euro units NewtonMetres, being US market surely you want 423lb/ft torque ?

Im guessing the conversion was more than 1/2 the price of the BIN price.

I believe the asking price was a little south of $35k and the buyer supposedly also got his plane ticket reimbursed by the seller. Quite a deal!

Exactly... the car price was $35k and the buyer got $1k discount for flying out and gas back to FL. Nuff said!

I was curious about this as well. What are the units of measurement here? If this motor is only producing 575 Nm/423lb/ft of torque, something is seriously wrong with it. And I can't believe somebody thinks it's producing 575lb/ft.

It makes little difference what the seller paid for the car (he acted fast and got a GREAT deal), and he has every right to sell it for full value. My guess at full value for the car is closer to $60k, perhaps $65k.

The previous owner of Rufus spent $55k with Ruf, and a year later, traded in the car at his local Porsche dealer for two turbos. He got around $43k. Clearly, some people don't have any idea what a Ruf conversion is worth, or simply don't want to be bothered. It turns out that the Porsche dealer didn't know what they had either, and sold the car on eBay to a car flipper for around $47k. I got a great deal on Rufus, and the flipper also made out just fine. Its been a great "project" adding Ruf bits over the past 3 years. I hope the new owner of this Turbo R also makes it unique by adding the Ruf bits.

Too bad the buyer didn't want to keep it and is just treating it like a damn IPO or something.

Though conversions do not command the same premium as Ruf VIN cars.
