Yes, they are among the heaviest wheels out there, but this should only be apparent on brisk driving on rough pavement. Of course none of us like carrying all that extra weight,. especially unsprung weight. But here's the upside... they are VERY STRONG, and they look bitchin'. Congrats. Did you get them used? Do you mind saying how much you paid?

 

Vincent I agree with Steve, don't worry much about the weight since it is street driven. I think you have quite a few extra horses under the lid that will compensate. Heavy wheels have also advantages. Especially these ones that look so outstanding on 993s!

the Ruf wheels don't really crack or break which is more than you can say for a lot of the cheaper 'lightweight" wheels...
