I never noticed that difference before. I went out to my garage to see if I could tell what you are talking about, and there it was... a small "lip" all around the edge of my aluminum wheels. You learn something new every day. Thanks.

Small Lip! i guess that makes me too? I have a set on the truck going to get blacked out in the morning. So the powder coating will work on aluminum? sorry to cross post.

Hi,

Mr. Lieb was the man who told it to me last winter!

Great guy, very friendly and a master and lover of the 911!

@vhanson: thanks! Yes i loved my 964, really a nice car!

I missed the litte frogface!

But it was a nice time and i have some nice pics and the greetings on a signed photo from Walter Röhrl (who drived the last test drive after the turbo conversion) and so i look back with pleasure!

But i love the 993tt in the same way! Great car!

Yes, i do the 2WD converion!

But i did it first in the way how it was descript in the forum and i was not happy!

I think there was too much "work" in the engine/transmission system and so i put in the RS Motor Mount to get a "stiffer" feeling in the back!

It is now ok but i think i will build in the 2 front parts of the C2 transmission because i can use the C2 transmission bar with the additional mount!

And that additional mount as the 993 RS part!

The shift rod is alos a 993 RS part at my conversion!

In the front i put in the 993 RS uprights (same as the GT EVO uprights, but still available) and the 993 RS tie rods!

Lowered with the H+R coil over and the H+R stabis and the 993 RS settings it runs perfect!

I still work at the car but it is now 99% ready!

Greetings Christian

He has been in the house Porsche and Ferrari in the decade of the 60 in Paris and Geneva and has been my great teacher
