Toby,
I think the smoke will look amazing with under carriage lighting.

Toby's being a good sport for all the flack he's catchin... :-)

Not being a smart ***, but smoked lenses really do improve the looks of the ffront end of a 95-99 M3. Really just depends on the car and your personal preference.

Hey..... I know the rules: If you dish it out you have to take it back

My problem is I am "artistically" inept with no vision - I have to physically see things and spend time looking at them before I can decide whether I like them cough....Frankenstien's bumper....cough

Have to say these lenses just didn't look right - the "whiteness" of the headlights together with the fog/parking light (right next door) meant that the indicator unit HAS to be white and the smoked just looked out of place....

The company who sold them is taking them back so no problem...

Anyway, you think I got flak for that and Frank' -wait until I share my next body mods in a couple of weeks

TB - I think you're dead on about the white/black. I liked the pic in the linked thread, of the black car with airducts. Without the white foglights and a lighter paint color to contrast, I think these look alright. But on a blue car with fogs - not my cup 'o tea.

I've been thinking about going to the clear lights on my Artic Silver 993TT. I put clear corners on my Silver Cayenne and I think they look great. Can the clear lights be altered to fit in the stock US bumper?
Thanks!
