Yep that's called the free market. Like it or not the prices of these cars will go down unless it's a low mileage prestine garage queen. Anything with high miles is going to go for less and less as we have seen over the past year.

I sold and delivered my car this weekend. For anyone curious about the market prices, my car (description at beginning of thread) sold for $51K. Not really what I wanted but good enough. I had only one serious shopper, the only one to actually look at the car. I had lots of virtual tire kickers with all kinds or reasons why they didn't want to buy my car. Mostly due to high mileage. I'm not sure why they bother to send emails and call if they don't want a high mileage car (it's clearly posted in every ad that I placed).
If anyone is in Sweden, be on the lookout for my car in a few weeks. The guy that bought it from me had it already sold to someone in Sweden.
On the way to deliver the 993TT, I test drove a possible replacement and bought it today. It's a 7500 mile 996TT with a GT2 front bumper and rear wing, Kinesis K18 wheels, flashed ECU, aftermarket exhaust, and a few other minor additions. The car is like brand new and looks like it's never been driven in rain.
BTW: I've got a bunch of 993TT mostly new (never installed) parts that I will be posting for sale as soon as I have a chance to sort them all and take some pictures. From my bad memory, I've got a RUF oil cooler with all hoses and brackets, full ignition wire set, spark plugs, oil/fuel filters, upgraded intercooler hoses, brake rotors, brake pads, used front protection bar, and I'm sure many other misc small parts. I have an Andial vent mounted boost gauge but someone already has first dibs. If they don't want it, it will be listed too.

Just replied to all of the PMs. Thanks for the interest guys. I've got the list together and pictures taken but just need to get it priced fairly. I'll probably get it posted tomorrow evening. It seems that used stuff goes for about 50% of new price. What is a fair price for new stuff?
Olli, yes I will be at the meeting tomorrow night. See you there.

Interesting that it is coming to Sweden. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I have been looking at 993 and 996 tt's lately in the US and might buy one in a year or so. If the currency situation stays the way it is.

Colin, I see in your sig that you no longer have the 965. Too bad. Just today I was looking at the "965 Leaders/Followers" poster and mentioning to a co-worker that out of all the cars that I've had, the 965 was the most fun to drive. The 993TT would have been a good buy for someone here. It was perfectly maintained with all the nits already taken care of. Too bad it had so many miles on it. I think it had about the same miles as the 965 did when I sold it to Dan Jacobs.
Anders, If you get serious about importing a car, let me know and I will put you in touch with the guy in Sweden. He and the guy here have it all worked out between the two of them and the freight company. He said they do several containers (2 cars per) each Spring. He claimed there was a significant profit to be made given the current exchange rates.

I may be interested in intercooler hoses, rotors, pads, fuel filter, and wires/plugs. Please PM me the price list when available or post it here.
